The intelligent room solutions and products produced by raumplus have passed the tests of the German Institute for Furniture Technology (DIM) according to the specifications of the RAL guidelines by the German Association for Furniture Production (DGM). This means that the following raumplus products bear the designation Made in Germany:
Since 2020, the "Furniture Made in Germany" label has stood for the high quality of German furniture manufacturers, for innovation, durability and healthy living. The label was defined by the renowned German Institute for Quality Assurance and Labelling (RAL) and is set out in RAL-RG 0191. It is intended to help you distinguish furniture that is truly made in Germany from imported furniture more quickly. At a glance, the label makes it clear that the awarded products are produced in Germany. The term quality is redefined here, it is about products that have at least 55% percent of the value added in Germany.
With the label "Furniture Made in Germany", we can set a clear signal in export, but also expand our market position in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). The raumplus product categories are labeled as Made in Germany products. What does that mean for you as a customer? We deliver our products to over 70 countries around the world. From Brazil to Australia and from China to South Africa, raumplus is the epitome of innovative sliding doors, room dividers and cabinet systems. The worldwide success is based on the performance of a strong team. As a German company, raumplus takes the location issue seriously and swims against the flow. We do not manufacture in low-wage countries, every product is made in Germany and is allowed to bear the designation "Made in Germany" according to certification. Trained specialists, who skilfully apply their hands, ensure the handmade quality of raumplus products in Bremen. Products of guaranteed quality and precision are created here, which have their price - but are worth it in every respect.

What makes raumplus stand out? We think it's the flexibility of the products and the ability of the people involved to develop solutions. It is the claim to generate a special benefit not only in function, but also in design. Accordingly, raumplus' competence ranges from the design in detail and the design of the whole room to the structuring of rooms and the creation of usable spaces to the living in these rooms. It is about more than just meeting presupposed requirements, it is about perfection.

Easy to install
Our products are produced to a high standard and are easy to install. Our aim is to create a product that is a pleasure for both the customer and the installer. Assembly instructions and documentation as well as visual material enable our partners to install the products without any problems.
They can be assembled and mounted with common tools.
Long-term tests in our own test facilities
If you want to hold your own in everyday life, you have to be able to withstand a lot. To ensure that our doors and systems not only withstand your everyday life, but also master it without any problems, we regularly put them to the test. Our products have to prove their specified function, quality and stability in sample setups and endurance tests, load tests and comparative tests. Even vandalism resistance is on the raumplus test schedule.
When things are going particularly well, it can happen that in the area of technology alone, around 1.25 million test cycles are accumulated in three years and our sliding doors travel almost 2,500 km in the test stand. In addition, we carry out further quality tests, also as part of the "Furniture Made in Germany" certification.
High durability due to high quality of individual components
If we go deeper into the details, the special quality of raumplus products becomes even clearer. Every raumplus product manufactured in Germany has durable and qualitative individual components. This means that even these individual components are inspected, tested and evaluated according to how well they meet the specified and presupposed requirements that we want our products to meet.
raumplus collaborates with renowned designers and recognized research institutions to develop and test new products, technical innovations and novel manufacturing methods. In this context, we can point with particular pride to the awarding of significant prizes and distinctions by national and international professional bodies.
