Welcome to raumplus!
Our success story began in Bremen in the mid-1980s as a small, specialised company for aluminium profile systems. Founder Jürgen Guddas developed the profile systems specifically for sliding doors, thereby laying the foundation for raumplus. This was followed by expansion into numerous export markets, an enlargement of the company headquarters, the addition of numerous room solutions, profiles and fittings to the product range, and a generational change in management.
In 2026, we are celebrating four decades of success, strong partnerships and an impressively wide range of products for every dream home. With around 160 employees, we work every day to ensure that customers in about 70 countries worldwide can fulfil their interior dreams.
We are proud to have been nominated for the German Brand Award 2026! The German Design Council's award is considered the benchmark for excellent brand management, and the nomination alone shows that our work is setting the standard for tomorrow's brand communication.
The German Design Council has been the authority on design in Germany since 1953. As a thought leader, it unlocks the potential of design for a sustainable future. To this end, it brings business and design together. All submissions are carefully reviewed, compared and discussed by a jury. The independent jury comprises experts from business, science, consulting, services and agencies.

miio is the new wardrobe system from our new brand CUB+IQ by raumplus, offering fixed modules with solutions for every challenge. The modular wardrobe system combines simple planning and flexibility with the latest consumer requirements. On 12 June, we took part in the company run ‘B2Run’ in Bremen with a small team on behalf of raumplus. After a nice warm-up on the banks of the river Weser in amazing summer weather, we set off on a successful 6km run together, which ended in the Weser stadium.
In June 2025, we celebrated a special anniversary at raumplus: our colleague Michael B. reached his 25-year milestone with the company. At a small celebration, our Managing Director, Carsten Bergmann, presented Michael with a certificate and a gift to show our appreciation for his commitment, loyalty and reliability over the last 25 years.
Together with colleagues, we toasted with a glass of sparkling wine and reminisced. Although Michael has never been the subject of any bizarre anecdotes, that is precisely what makes him so special. He is always calm and conscientious, and is simply always there when you need him.
We would like to thank Michael for his many years of loyalty and dedicated work, and for his positive influence on our team. We look forward to the coming years together.
According to the motto ‘From components to tailor-made’, raumplus once again presented itself at interzum in Cologne from 20-23 May 2025. The focus: innovations for customised room solutions, technical components and stylish design for furniture, wardrobe and door systems.
Highlights at the trade fair stand:
855,000 kitchens per year and every single one is unique! Our partner nobilia, headquartered in Verl, Germany, which we had the honour of visiting in May, achieves this. After a brief introduction to the company, bright yellow warning vests were handed out to everyone and we were able to learn lots of exciting things about the kitchen manufacturer's production and processes during the factory tour.
From the individual kitchen front to the customer's home: After gaining an insight into the production, we explored the 5,400 m² exhibition area. Here, we were impressed by the huge variety of designs in all possible application examples for kitchens, bathrooms and entire room furnishings. A visit to our own raumplus showroom area on site, where our product highlights are on display all year round, rounded off the day.

We are delighted to announce a milestone in the long-standing and trusting collaboration with our Indian partner MRJ: During a successful visit to Bremen at the beginning of April 2025 we officially renewed our partnership.
The Mumbai-based company has been a loyal and committed partner of raumplus for many years and has played a key role in establishing our brand philosophy and quality standards in the Indian market. With the current signing of the contract, both sides are reaffirming their common goal: the further, sustainable expansion of our business activities in India and the even stronger positioning of the raumplus brand in a dynamic market environment.

From 20 to 23 May 2025, raumplus will be exhibiting at interzum in Cologne, the world's leading trade fair for furniture production and interior design. Under the exciting theme «from components to tailor-made», we will be presenting a comprehensive overview of our product range: from sliding doors, hinged and folding doors, room dividers and partition systems to wardrobe systems and their accessories.
The daily exhibition hours are from 9:00 to 18:00. We are already looking forward to your visit and the opportunity to present our latest products and profile and hardware components to you in person.

With the grand opening of a new Experience Centre in Kochi, raumplus partner SIGMA has set an important milestone in the development of the Indian market. An entire floor has been converted into a modern showroom where customers can now experience the innovative room solutions from raumplus in authentic living scenarios.
The raumplus export team took part in the opening ceremony, which incorporated traditional Indian elements. ‘It always makes us very happy and grateful to be able to experience this feeling of coming together with members of our raumplus family,’ says Roland Lühmann and his export team, looking back on the trip.
With the new Experience Centre, customers in the Kochi region can experience the high-quality raumplus products in realistic living environments - from elegant wardrobes to perfectly integrated solutions in the kitchen. This authentic presentation enables customers and partners to directly experience the quality and versatility of raumplus systems.
Both the Indian partners and the raumplus team agree: the opening of the Experience Centre marks an important step in the cooperation and will sustainably strengthen the market presence in the region.
We are delighted to announce that our S1200 pivot door has been honoured with the prestigious German Design Award 2025!
On 7 February 2025, our colleague Kathrin Strauß accepted the award live at the German Design Award Gala in Frankfurt.
From nominee to winner: this award is a great confirmation for us, because it shows us that we are on the right track. We want to create high-quality and aesthetically pleasing room solutions, and we do this with great attention to detail. The jury of the German Design Award particularly recognised the successful combination of form and function that characterises our S1200 pivot door. The minimalist design blends seamlessly into modern living concepts, while the innovative pivot mechanism offers particular flexibility in interior design.

Looking back on a successful year 2024 and looking ahead to new perspectives and opportunities: On 4 December, all raumplus colleagues came together for the staff meeting. In addition to a speech by the management on the achievements and challenges of recent months, several department heads spoke about current topics in the areas of production and sales.
The great growth of our team was also particularly pleasing news: since the last meeting in June, 22 new colleagues have joined us, actively supporting raumplus in production, warehousing and administration. This means that the raumplus family has now grown to 170 people. Motivated by the words of praise from the Managing Director Carsten Bergmann for the employees, raumplus is now entering the year-end spurt and is looking forward to an exciting year 2025!
‘We are delighted that our new products, the pivot door S1200 and lighting for the Legno interior system, were met with great enthusiasm by visitors at this year's in-house exhibition in Verl.’ This is how the DACH and Export International Sales Managers, René Spies and Roland Lühmann, summed up the 2024 in-house exhibition at nobilia in Verl. The Sliding TV Door and the possibilities of digital printing were also very popular, they both report.
The number of visitors was very good and, according to the host nobilia, the total number was even higher than in the previous year. The German sales team registered numerous visits from existing customers as well as some new contacts. The export team was also pleased with the high number of visitors, especially the many French interested parties. The positive response from France was particularly pleasing for our French colleagues, who were working for raumplus at the trade fair for the first time.
The redesign of the showroom was very well received by the public. The visitors were very positive about the products and the quality. The raumplus trade fair team is delighted with the great response to the trade fair stand, from the decoration to the overall concept. The task now is to follow up on the trade fair and continue to provide first-class products. Together with the advice of our dealers in Germany and abroad, we want to counteract the reluctance of end customers to buy.

The event, moderated by Katrin de Louw and Sacha Tapken, took place in a pleasant setting that provided the perfect backdrop for interesting discussions and inspiring moments. The exchange with the participants was very enriching and the opportunity to network was used intensively. Exciting discussions characterised the atmosphere and we were able to attend a very inspiring presentation by Prof. Dr Claudia Hilker. Her expert knowledge on the topic of LinkedIn in B2B business opened up new perspectives and suggestions for our future activities.
It was also particularly pleasing to see familiar faces from the furniture industry again. The event provided an ideal platform for strengthening existing contacts and making new ones.
We would like to thank the organisers of the FURNITURETALK and are full of inspiration and new ideas for the future.

We are delighted to announce our successful trade fair debut at the renowned KBB Birmingham , which took place from 3 to 6 March 2024 in Birmingham, UK. The KBB show is one of the leading events in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom sector. It provided us with a unique platform for the UK export market to showcase our latest innovations and high-quality solutions for customised interior design. Visitors had the opportunity to experience our versatile wardrobe systems, room dividers, hinged and sliding doors and customisable built-in solutions at first hand. We were able to generate numerous new contacts and are now looking forward to further discussions with interested parties.

Under the motto "Light up your Life", we presented our latest, future-oriented lighting solutions as well as prototypes of the Pivot and RPG doors and many other products from raumplus. We were overwhelmed by the positive feedback on our stand and the individual products and are still enjoying the personal dialogue with you afterwards. On 13 December, the management hosted a staff meeting to inform all employees about the latest news, the status quo and past and upcoming events. It was a varied meeting with the introduction of new managers, information on the processes and tasks of departments and acknowledgements. New projects were presented and the outlook for the upcoming trade fairs was given.
A successful surprise was the visit of St Nicholas in a double pack. The two managing directors surprised the employees today with a small gift from St Nicholas.

Colleagues from the administration department were given an exciting insight into production during a tour of the restructured raumplus production facility. The changes in production are impressive and illustrate the dynamism and innovative strength of our company. The tour enabled the colleagues from the administration to experience the optimised production facilities and to understand the process optimisations. One of the main aims of the tour was not only to present the processes, but also to raise awareness of the challenges and needs of the production staff. The administrative staff had the opportunity to speak directly to the managers on site and ask questions. This not only promoted the exchange of knowledge, but also strengthened cohesion between departments.

"Smile, please" was the motto in the hall as all employees, including the international sales team, took their places for the new raumplus company portrait. The international colleagues were also in Bremen for the International Sales Meeting, so the photo session was scheduled for that day. With a lot of fun, a great team photo was taken (once again).
With his direct manner, he has not only mastered the team, but also many a challenging situation. Our "Edu" always pulls out the stops when the going gets tough, and his determination has seen us through many a production hurdle. His ability to keep a level head in stressful situations deserves our utmost respect.
Our colleague Eduard Moch has accompanied the growth of our production like no other. His dedication, expertise and tireless efforts have been instrumental in getting us to where we are today.

About the label: Since 2020, the "Furniture Made in Germany" label has stood for the high quality of German furniture manufacturers, for innovation, durability and healthy living. The definition of this new label was made by the renowned German Institute for Quality Assurance and Labelling (RAL) and is laid down in RAL-RG 0191.
The architecture platform Archello.com has included our wall partitioning system "Verrière" in the Longlist - Products of the Archello Awards 2023. The jury, consisting of internationally renowned architects and planners, viewed and evaluated more than 1000 products in 17 categories. raumplus is proud to have received its second award for "Verrière". The wall partitioning system had previously won the German Design Award.
Archello.com is an online platform specialising in the presentation of architecture and design projects. It serves as an inspiring source of information for architects, designers, builders and other professionals in the construction industry, as well as people interested in architecture and design.

Our staff meeting was a good opportunity to reflect on the changes and challenges of the last 18 months, welcome new colleagues and hear reports from the various departments. Over the past 18 months we have seen many changes as a company. We have had to face the challenges of a rapidly changing world, marked by political events and pandemic restrictions. The staff meeting was an opportunity for us to acknowledge these challenges while celebrating the successes we have achieved as a team.
A particular highlight of the meeting was welcoming many new colleagues. We welcome them and look forward to working with them.
The brief reports from the Sales DACH region, Export and Production departments also provided important insights. Our two Managing Directors also gave an outlook on the opportunities arising from new business opportunities and existing partnerships. We see enormous potential in these areas and are confident that we can continue to drive our growth.
Finally, everyone thanked everyone for their hard work, dedication and support. Our staff meeting has shown that we can achieve a lot as a team. Together, we will continue to meet challenges, seize opportunities and keep our company on the road to success.
It was a special day for us and our colleague Burkhardt Lehmann at the beginning of July 2023. Our colleague has been with us for 25 years now and, with his internal store of knowledge, is a kind of raumplus library for us. The colleagues in the management team and the two raumplus managing directors would like to congratulate "Mr Lehmann", as he is affectionately known to all his colleagues, on his anniversary. He is responsible for the company's IT management and, together with his team, is often the fire brigade when it comes to IT.
We all thank "Mr Lehmann" and wish him continued fun and joy in his work! Congratulations!
We were there live for the first time, at the Red Dot Gala 2023 in Essen. It was a great event in two parts. It started with the Red Dot Gala in Essen's Aalto Theatre, the place where the best of the best were honoured for their extraordinary design achievements. After the official presentation of the Best of the Best Awards, the Red Dot Designers Night continued at the Zeche Zollverein. The Red Dot Museum, where the evening event took place, is also located in the time-honoured industrial halls. The crowning finale was the presentation of our award certificate and the official winner photo shoot.

"We are delighted with the response to our new product »Facet« and the trade fair concept," says Kathrin Strauß, Head of Marketing and Art Director at raumplus. The trade fair hat trick: Fuorisalone, interzum & imm cologne Spring Edition was the big challenge for the raumplus team. Together and motivated, we went to the start and even the first day of the fair gave us hope that we would be able to draw a positive conclusion at the end of the fair. And so it was.
The new »Facet«, the clothes lift with floor ("paternoster floor") as well as the new push-to-open/softclose combination for the drawer, the drawer with invisible pull-out and the S1200 turn lock were very well received by the trade public.
We would like to thank everyone who visited us in Cologne for the great moments and good discussions!
All in all, Interzum 2023, which took place from 9 to 12 May in Cologne, was an inspiring event that delighted the public with fascinating innovations and groundbreaking ideas.
"We see the clear internationalisation of Interzum as a great opportunity for raumplus. The positive basic mood was reflected by our customers from Europe as well as from the Middle East and India and we were able to make many new contacts," says Carsten Bergmann. The focus at Interzum was on the »Facet« presentation, but the new handle variants of the Swing Door Slim Line, the locks of the S1200 and the paternoster floor for the Legno interior system also made a good impression.
Copper and champagne as the »Facet« profile colours were the talk of the town, as raumplus is breaking new ground here. "We are very pleased with the popularity of our new »Facet« profile system. Developed by the Berlin Furniture designer Michael Hilgers, »Facet« also managed to inspire people in Cologne with its gemstone-inspired shape," says Bergmann.

More than 30 guests accepted our invitation to Bremen and so we could welcome our partners and customers from India at our company location on 08 May 2023. It was a good and exciting day for all participants. The company confirmation and production tour were followed by entertaining presentations from various departments to provide a good basis for a professional exchange afterwards. We would like to thank all our guests and look forward to seeing them again!
Profile system »Facet« awarded the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2023. raumplus continues to set standards in product design: Profile system »Facet« was awarded by an international jury for its exceptional quality. With the Red Dot Award, the jury honours products with special design quality and a high degree of innovation. »Facet« was designed by the Berlin Furniture designer Michael Hilgers, who was inspired by the polished edges of a precious stone during the development. »Facet« will celebrate its world premiere at Fuorisalone 2023 in Milan. There, the new raumplus profile system will be presented to the public for the first time. "With »Facet«, we are proud to be able to prove once again how innovative and design-oriented our intelligent customised room solutions are! »Facet« joins the ranks of our S1200 LED sliding door, the Sliding TV Door and the Swing Door Slim Line room door, which have also won internationally recognised awards.
In March, raumplus visited nobilia in Verl. On a total of three Fridays, colleagues visited the factory and the exhibition at the Verl site. It was an exciting day for all of us. In addition to the production tour, which ranged from the delivery area of the raw material to the shipping area, we were introduced to the company in an interesting presentation. In the 5,000m² exhibition, we then learned everything about nobilia's "everything from a single source" principle and were able to discover all the exhibition kitchens and the solutions for the living area and bathroom. The highlight for many employees was certainly to visit their own raumplus exhibition at nobilia. Seeing, touching and trying out one's own products live in an exhibition outside one's own location is simply something else. At the end of the day, all three groups were very impressed by the dimensions and grateful for this great experience.

After a few years break we are back in Milano. As part of the Fuorisalone 2023, we will show our new products at Corso Garibaldi 17, in the Brera district. The Fuorisalone is an annual design event in Milan that takes place at the same time as the Salone del Mobile. It is a great way to find out about the latest trends in the design world and also the Brera district and Fuorisalone is a wonderful opportunity to experience the culture and flair of Milano.
Our new profile system will celebrate its premiere in Milano, celebrate with us. We look forward to seeing you in Milano!
On 16 February 2023, the raumplus India factory and Inspiration Centre was officially opened by our partner Saviesa Home Improvement. Numerous guests attended the great event and made the day another very special day in raumplus history. Dr. Herwig Mehrwald, CEO Sales & Marketing, and Tomek Tyminski, Sales Director Asia & Pacific, from raumplus, were present at the opening and conveyed their best wishes for a joint future in partnership.

Merci Frankfurt – raumplus wall partitioning system Verrière wins German Design Award 2023
The international jury of experts of the German Design Council awarded our wall partitioning system "Verrière" with the German Design Award 2023 in the category Excellent Product Design - Building and Elements.
Filigree aluminum profiles and glass form the basis of "Verrière", the new room partitioning system for modern room division. It can be used wherever translucent walls are required, whether in the kitchen, hallway, staircase, home office or many other rooms.
We are very happy about this award and say: "Merci Frankfurt!"
More than 6,000 visitors were part of SAVIESA & raumplus' great start at the ACETECH fair in Mumbai. The famous actress Kashikar Sanika was part of the trade fair programme and, in addition to the products on display, attracted a lot of attention to the large trade fair stand. Rajesh and Monesh Ahuja, the two responsible heads behind Saviesahome describe the fair as follows:"After a period of almost 2 years people went all out to visit the fair and the turnout of trade and architects was very high. We managed to show all of the product range available with us.“ We are happy about this positive feedback on the joint trade fair and are even more looking forward to many exciting joint projects with our partner!

The furniture industry is currently gathering in East Westphalia until 25 September, to take a closer look at the latest trends and innovations in the kitchen and furnishing sector. In the course of the Küchenmeile Germany, we also invite our customers and partners to the in-house exhibition in the raumplus showroom in Bünde or to the new permanent showroom in Verl (at nobilia). There, the current raumplus range will be shown on 150 sqm. We are looking forward to a great fair and good conversations!

On the second Friday in July, the employees were invited to eat burgers together. As a thank you for the great cooperation and commitment during the Corona period, the management ordered a food truck directly to Dortmunder Straße.
Thus, the weekend was kicked off with a successful Bon Appétit!
On 30 June, 6 colleagues took part in the B2Run in Bremen as the "raumplus" team. As one of 300 companies, raumplus once again took part in the run over the 6.3 km distance. A total of 5,000 running enthusiasts followed the call #gemeinsamaktiv.
We congratulate our team colleagues on their successful participation!

The 2nd May 2022 was a special day, for our colleague Rüdiger W. and for all of us. When a colleague has been part of the company for three decades, that speaks for itself.
The managing directors and executives congratulated and Carsten Bergmann presented Rüdiger W. with a certificate of honour and a trophy as thanks and recognition. Together, they look back on a long, successful and eventful path with raumplus.
We wish our colleague a lot of fun in the future and say: "Congratulations & thank you Rüdiger!
The challenge in planning the new raumplus showroom in Bremen was to create a presentation of lifeworlds in suggested spaces, close to the corporate architecture, instead of installing a pure product presentation.
With a size of 220m², the new showroom offers plenty of space to implement the new presentation concept. The living worlds are intended to arouse more emotions and stimulate the customers' imagination. The raumplus partners are to be given furnishing ideas during a visit to the showroom at the company's Bremen location. "We want to give the partners ideas for designing their own exhibition and show them the context in which our products can be staged," says Kathrin Strauß, Art Director at raumplus. Within these living worlds, we present different products that are coordinated with each other, just as you would configure them for your own home.
In addition to its function as a showroom, the newly designed space in 2022 also serves as a meeting room and event location. For this reason, a more sensible room layout and better walkways were one of the points we worked out together.
The intelligent room solutions and products produced by raumplus have passed the tests and are officially certified with the label: furniture. Made in Germany. Our walk-in wardrobes, built-in wardrobes, room dividers, chests of drawers and room doors may now adorn themselves with this label. Since 2020, the "Möbel Made in Germany" label has stood for the high quality of German furniture manufacturers, for innovation, durability and healthy living. The new label was defined by the renowned German Institute for Quality Assurance and Certification (RAL) and is set out in RAL-RG 0191. What do these awards mean for raumplus customers? One thing above all: they can be sure that they are buying quality products made in Germany. Or to put it in the words of the Association of the German Furniture Industry: "We have thus introduced certified proof of quality furniture from Germany".

We received two awards at this year's German Brand Award, the sixth edition of one of the most important German brand prizes: the virtual raumplus house was named »Winner« in the category Brand Communication - Digital solutions & Apps and also received a »Special Mention« as Brand Innovation of the year.
With 315 million contacts, the prize awarded by the Frankfurt-based German Design Council is the brand and marketing prize with the widest reach in the German-speaking world. Once a year, it honors the best in innovative brands, consistent brand management and sustainable brand communication. We are proud that our virtual house, which has been breaking all click records since its inauguration in January of this year, has even received two awards. This encourages us to continue pursuing innovative online paths in parallel to our classic (trade show) presence in order to be in direct contact with our customers at all times.
For a week now, our online trade fair stand and the raumplus house can be explored on screen in a 360° tour and the response has been great! Just like in analogue IMM times, dealers, press representatives, end consumers and interested parties are virtually "joining hands" at the raumplus stand - only this time virtually and thus without any risk of contagion. At most, there will be a crowd on our server, which is optimally prepared - just like our sales team, which will be happy to accompany visitors online on request.
The fact that many people take the time afterwards to express their approval and congratulations for this new way of presentation makes us very happy and also a little proud. From "Outstanding. We haven't seen anything like this (in our industry)" (Gruner + Jahr publishing group) to "Congratulations on the successful implementation! Super exciting to see what is possible" (Architonic) to "Inspiring. Applause!" (LinkedIn network), the undivided encouragement we receive through a wide variety of communication channels. Until the end of February, interested parties can visit us at the virtual trade fair 2021 with a click - at any time and from any location.
The digital raumplus house will remain accessible and experienceable online all year round and will continue to inspire with further rooms and products in the future.

The Great German Brands 2021 at a design gala on September 24, 2020 at Soho House Berlin, where raumplus will of course also be represented: between two noble book covers and, if the current situation allows, in person.
Our Swing Door Slim Line literally "excelled" at the German Design Award 2020: the Frankfurt Design Council named it "Winner" in the category "Excellent Product Design - Buildings and Elements". It impressed the jury with its ability to add a second sash to large openings, which can be fixed or opened as required. The design of the filigree panels set in aluminum frames, which can be structured symmetrically or asymmetrically with attached glazing bars, was also deemed worthy of an award. We are pleased to continue the series of raumplus product awards with the German Design Award 2020 currently - and feel honored on the whole "Slim Line".
For the fourth time, the readers of "Wohnidee" have honored raumplus with the annual public award of the living magazine, determined by voting. More than 18,500 readers voted for their favorites in seven furniture categories ranging from beds and upholstery to lighting. Valuable end consumer votes that earned us first place in the "Wohnidee Reader Award 2019" in the "Wardrobes" category. Our walk-in wardrobe combination of tinted float glass sliding doors from the S1200 Air series and the matching Uno and Legno interior systems was very well received. Thus, after 2017, raumplus was once again able to accept the prize awarded at the IMM Cologne. We would like to thank you for the "excellent" choice and will be happy to face the readers' verdict with current products again this year.
